"Dear LORD God Who reigns in heaven and on earth, forgive our sins and the sins of this nation. Forgive us for swimming in our own indulgences, for living 1 Timothy 6:17 "Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy." that we forgot that although we have privileges, we have also responsibilities which we have neglected as citizens of this nation. We have allowed riches to rule our lives. We have forgotten you. We have lip-serviced you but our hearts are far from You. We have no clue on what is really happening in the nation because we are so self-centered in all our ways and care less for whatever is happening elsewhere without understanding that whatever happens in this nation, town by town, city by city, county by county, and state by state, will affect our lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren in the generations to come until you come back, because we are all Americans. We owe it to these coming generations to model how to live the righteous ways you instruct us to follow which is really an act of loving You with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength and loving others as ourselves so that this nation will continue to be a light shining to the world instead of leading the world in darkness even as we are walking light in our own homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
O God, we beseech you to forgive the sins of this nation and humbly ask You for the outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon all flesh in this nation, even the Americans scattered around the world, and quicken each hearts to pray and intercede.
Your Word says in Job 12:23
"He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them."
and in Acts 17: 26 NIV
"From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands."
O GOD, spare this nation from becoming a godless nation that could usher its downfall and consume the issues that threatens to divide the United States with Your truth, with the fire of Your Word, the same WORD that was the source in the founding of this nation and the laws that were made in every corner of the land.
In the past, You have filled the governments of each state with officers and workers who revered and feared Your Holy Name and Your Word, people who made and passed laws that reflects Your righteousness, who ruled and judged with Your Heart in mind written in their own hearts. In reality, these are the very same people who leads, rules and institute justices in their own homes.
An individual and a citizen who has forgotten You, or has grown cold towards You, O Jesus, has started to forget and neglect his own household. This same household has forgotten You, became dysfunctional, and neglected its role in their own communities, state and nation. Men, women and children have forgotten their roles simply because we have forgotten You. As a result, it brings about a nation who is beginning to take YOU out of its fabric. Forgive us for growing cold towards You, for forgetting You and the importance of Your WORD in our everyday living. Forgive us for all the idolatry abounding in this nation, idolizing ourselves and what money can do for us "giving us all things to enjoy" while our hearts have gone far from You and so we care not at all whatever is happening around us.
For a nation to be free, every individual, family and household needs to be free from the bondage of sin that darkens and destroys our lives and relationships.
For a nation to heal, every individual, family and household needs to heal. A community, a town, a city, a county, a state, and the whole nation will begin to heal.
Unless a household repents and heals, how can a whole state and nation follow?
The sins of this nation is our own sins of neglect of You and Your WORD. It rippled much. Bring the people, foreigners and citizens, and the nation to repentance.
We beg You to grant us Your grace, mercy and power to turn around, to turn the tide and fill all government posts in every town, city, county, state and federal offices with people who will make, and pass laws that reflect Your righteousness, who rules and judges with Your Heart in mind written in their own hearts. If there is anyone sitting in a post that shouldn't be there, take them out.
In the same way, as citizens working in private entities, empower us to live and voice out Your righteous ways that greatly influence the laws that are being made and passed.
In the past, you positioned a leader who--even though he does not know you, nor was he of your own people--had a heart ruled by You. Your Spirit stirred him.
Oh, how much more You would do if that same heart is Your own devoted child! Please, my LORD GOD, my heart breaks for what is happening in this nation whom I have learned to love even though I am just an immigrant, having understood, by reading its history how much Your presence is written in the fabric of their lives beginning in their laws and the balance that exists in their government branches.
But because the people have committed adulteries against You O GOD and murders against the innocents through the years, it is changing rapidly in darkness. Cleanse each one and the nation with the Blood of Jesus from its own corruption. Give us new hearts and new spirits that will love You and write Your WORD in the tablets of our hearts. Seal us with Your Holy Spirit.
O LORD, once more, quicken this 'ONE NATION UNDER GOD" who "IN GOD WE TRUST" be true in every way.
Stir the whole nation and anoint Franklin Graham as he continues Decision Tour 2016's "Campaign for God."
Move the people of the United States to PRAY. VOTE. ENGAGE.

How God Provided For Curriculum as A Homeschooler
Through the years GOD has faithfully provided funds to buy new school year's book curriculum through the resale of the books we bought and have used last year.
It is very sad and a suppression from the education government officials that even though each child here in this nation is given or allotted an educational funding from kindergarten to high School, the public schools and charter schools would not allow Christian homeschooling families to direct their children's funds to their choice of Christian curriculum providers.
We are not asking for the money to be given to us directly but at least it will be allowed that the funds be paid directly to our choice of curriculum providers, not impose their own lists of curriculum providers, because as their parents we know what our children needs when it comes to education.
We already took it upon ourselves to educate our kids but let not the Department of Education, nor the School boards, nor the principals, or whoever is deciding on the matter take away the rights of homeschooling families to direct their child(ren)'s education funding to the curriculum provider of their choice even if these providers are not in their list (or intentionally has been singled out from their list) just because it is a Christian curriculum publisher or provider.
Why does this nation persecute and suppress its Christian citizens and homeschooling families who are equally paying our taxes just like everyone else? Why does this nation single out Christian businesses and establishments and suppress them yet they all equally pay their taxes diligently?
Why is this nation called a free country doing this evil and unfair practices?

Where I am right now, the Land of the Brave (or Home of the Brave), life is becoming hard. Costs are rising up faster and often than salaries do. Since recession, people are losing jobs, lost homes, lining up kitchen soup pantries to help meet the need for food. Christian organizations handling food banks let you know through their media mail how much people are lining up to meet that need. Food organizations or even supermarkets are giving away perishable food but such gifts need money to transport them where they are needed---food banks.
People, whether professing faith or no faith in God, are moved to make adjustments in life.
My rent went up again.
I wonder when my boss will increase my salary?
They make us work 10 hours a day like our bodies will not burn out.
You woke up at 3:00 a.m. to start work at 5:00 a.m.
Even salaried personnel get deducted from pay when taking a day off to help the body recover (but already used up sick leave)?
Perhaps it is time to pray for tyrant employers?
Ask God to intervene about abusive owners of companies who are greedy for money or profit but make their labor force work like "carabaos" (animals in Asia that help work the soil before planting).
Companies are making you do "multi-tasking" yet they pay you little or assign you more work that is no longer part of what you applied for in the beginning.
If God is not going to move to increase the salary, what can we do?
Complain?
Grumble?
Cry? (my brother did, out of wearied body doing electrical maintenance in hotel but was asked to do plumbing as well which is becoming more often)
Is ti time to evaluate our spending habits?
Time to make decisions, decisions, decisions, big or small.
Life is getting hard.

Should we just enroll the kids at a charter school Independent Study or home school and trust God to provide for curriculum?

Is this a real need (that which you can't really do without "like oxygen is to life" kind of spending) or just a want (can do without it).

Can this dance enrollment of a certain child wait in lieu of a more important course for another sibling?
Perhaps, we wait another month before we buy this needed curriculum so that credit card spending do not accumulate on top of one another?
Watch a movie at a theatre or just rent through Red Box? Can you wait?
Should I buy an Ipad or an Iphone?
GPS Navigator or the tablet can do the same work?
Pay internet service using Iphone or just wait until you get home and do your internet needs on the home computer to lower down telephone or internet bills?
